uniqueness
ok, i agree that being unique does have some of its glamour
but i guess i've grown tired of explaining myself
and yes, i'm not obligated to explain myself
but ....
i'm just fed up, i guess.
we're trying to connect with each other, aren't we?
so, when you're so "unique", it's hard to connect
and in the same breath, i know
our uniqueness spreads our horizons and we can connect to many more
but like a jack of all trades and a master of none
can we have a thousand superficial friends
and not a single kindred spirit?

No, you have a thousand kindred spirits (who...as evidenced by your comments section, all feel "unique") and a thousand superficial friends as well. Do what I do, for "where are you from", if you're not in the mood for "born here..moved there and there and...parents are from..blah blah blah" just pick where you've lived longest, in your case Toronto. Most ppl are politically correct enuf to let it go at that. i.e. Pull a James Noble and just say I'M CANADIAN! But don't pull a James Noble and do an identity change!
perhaps i should change my name too, like james did. what was his name before? maybe i should change it to something like jenny righteous.
