comfort level

as much as i'd like to be comfortable with everyone
it's simply not the case
some invisible wall erects itself spontaneously
but i was quite flattered to know that others are comfortable with me
it's funny what we find embarrassing to show others
but with me (although i'm working fervently to correct this)
i barely notice things
that others are horrified to show
maybe i'm just accustomed to it myself
something you call a mess, i find it's just what a comfy house should look like so i don't notice anything out of the ordinary
i guess comfort levels partly depend on what we find as normal
like sharing a towel to me is the filthiest thing you could possibly do
but i know people do it all the time
or cutting your toe nails and leaving the clippings in the carpet to vacuum up later...ewwww
but i use to wash my towel once a week and that is totally repulsive to some
personal hygiene...always an interesting point of conversation.
