the road, waves, wind and sun
i was reminded that not so long ago, i use to live in a small town
and how i use to love walking on the side of the road
where the local ice cream spot was the highlight of the summer
no buses, no traffic
where each house had its own identity
i can imagine main st. at christmas
i can imagine biking down to the provincial park
i can imagine sketching hidden treasures

i spent a weekend going home
