who would have thought i'd ever work out?

so, a fear of apathy led me to the gym last august. now, working out is actually fun. who would have thought expending all this valuable energy on "motionless" machines and lifeless weights could be so much fun? i can't say that i do it for my health per se, or to check out people, or to get a svelte body. it's the adrenaline rush. the pursuit of that boundry where your body says, "no", but your mind says, "YES". is this what people experience? i suppose i'm experiencing it now because exercising is something i've chosen to do rather than something i have to do. choice. truly a great gift from God.

Hmm...exercising for fun...pushing your body to boudaries...tired legs...lifting heavy stuff... sorry...can't find ANY shred of fun there. It's rather sad, I don't think I'll ever experience this "adrenaline rush." If I exercise, it's purely b/c I don't want to drop dead when I'm 40... Oh, and so I'll look slim for the wedding. But I think I can do that with Pilates...haha
