mona's helping me with entering the 21st century

so, i'm a total retro freak. what's a blog?
whatever happened to writing letters? ok, i have to admit that i'm a msn freak but never got into blogging. msn; however, is just a cheap way of staying in touch and multitasking.
blogging is like the ipod craze. how is it any better than msn or an mp3 player?

Great start, I see you figured out how to change your title...unfortunately nHubbie does not include the word Mona.
Blogging is way cool. MSN is awesome too, but SO last century! JK!

now that i've had a chance to peruse some musings, i can see the advantage of a blog. but could someone just say it like it is. a blog is a journal. it's just on a public forum. all this computer jargon. we do truly choose to complicate our lives with semantics.

but that being said, it's been quite the pleasure reading people's thoughts. funny enough, i've been blogging without knowing it. 2 of my dearest friends and i have shared random thoughts with each other for the past 4-5yrs via e-mail. and unlike an msn conversation or an e-mail, the "blogs" were just stated with the opportunity for comments but never meant for an intentional comment. truly a nice way to let off some steam, clear up inner confusions, or simply ramble.

Hey Khai Nhu! Welcome to the blogging world. How is it different? Well, you can write an idea for the world to see and for those who are interested, can respond and give their 2 cents. You can post pictures and really create your own little world in the internet. Some view it as an online diary that you want people to read...

Others use it to update friends and family all at once that seems a little more personable than e-mail.
